Another year in the books. When our members founded Sactown Petanque, their goal was to play a lot of pétanque, and that they did in 2023. Just like the previous year, our members shined in 2023. We had winners in opens, nationals, regionals, and club tournaments. We also had amazing firsts – our member Chan became the first person in our club to win gold in the Rose City Open (Portland) with his partner Kham from Fresno; our members Roland and Raimana were the first to win gold in the Port Townsend Open, our members Mike and Christophe were the first to win gold in the Fresno Blossom Trail Open, our members Chan and Phominik won gold in the Lamorinda Cup, and our member Suzie was the first person in our club to win a National Singles title. Well done teams!
